Las Cruces 4th of July Celebration

Black Jacket Symphony to perform at 4th of July concert.

NMSU and the Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up again to host the city’s annual Fourth of July celebration concert and fireworks display at Pat and Lou Sisbarro Community Park, 3205 Arrowhead Dr., on the NMSU campus.

The Black Jacket Symphony will make its Las Cruces debut performing the “Saturday Night Fever” soundtrack and Prince’s “Purple Rain” for this year’s July 4 concert. Known for their incredible live recreations, the Black Jacket Symphony will open with a performance of the iconic soundtrack “Saturday Night Fever” live in its entirety, capturing the essence of this disco-era masterpiece. They will follow this up with Prince’s “Purple Rain” live, note for note, sound for sound, plus a full set of the legendary artist’s greatest hits.
