Join 101 Gold For National Night Out Aug 5

National Night Out, the annual community-building event that brings together neighbors, first responders and service-based organizations, will be held 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, in Downtown Las Cruces.

The free and family-friendly event encourages neighbors to spend time outside interacting with each other and with first responders from throughout Las Cruces and Dona Ana County. Several local organizations and non-profits will also be on hand to share information on the services they provide.

Many of the participants will have giveaways and resource cards available for free.

National Night Out will be held on Plaza de Las Cruces and along Main Street between Bowman Avenue and the roundabout near City Hall. Parking is available along Church and Water streets, in the lots near Thomas Branigan Memorial Library and City Hall, and in the parking garage at City Hall.

National Night Out is celebrated annually on the first Tuesday in August and helps enhance the relationships between neighbors, first responders and service organizations.

Service-based organizations that would like to participate in National Night Out are encouraged to email Charli Velasco at [email protected] before July 29.
