The eventual game-winning touchdown was scored by Las Cruces quarterback Gunnar Guardiola on a two-yard touchdown run with 1:29 left to play. The Storm, who had no timeouts, may have allowed Guardiola to reach the end zone to have enough time for a response, but they didn’t get it.
