The map legend said the outages started at around 9: 30 a.m., expected power to be restored at around 1:45 p.m.; however, by 10:15 a.m. power had been restored.
An EP Electric spokesperson said the outage was caused by a failing voltage transformer at one of the Las Cruces substation.
