The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department is accepting entries for the 2026 Electric Light Parade. This year’s theme is “Stars, Stripes and City Lights.”
Parade Date: Friday, July 3, 2026
Start Time: 9 p.m.
Start Location: Apodaca Park (801 E. Madrid Ave.)
Route travels along Solano Dr., east on Hadley Ave., and ends at Maag Softball Complex
Commercial and non-commercial groups, as well as car and motorcycle clubs, are encouraged to participate (vehicle clubs limited to 20 vehicles).
Trophies will be awarded for:
• 1st–3rd place (commercial & non-commercial)
• Best Overall Float
There is no entry fee, but some restrictions apply. Floats will be judged on originality, theme, and use of lights.
Note: Bicycles, walkers, single ATVs/UTVs, and single vehicles are not permitted.

June 25 & 26 at the Las Cruces Natatorium. Choose from either 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. on both days.
