Nine bands will be performing for the Rock for Ruidoso 2 relief concert this weekend to support the flood victims.
The benefit concert will take place on Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Rock House in El Paso, located at 9828 Montana Ave, with doors opening at 3 p.m. and music performances beginning at 4 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the door for $10, with all proceeds going directly to flood relief efforts in Ruidoso, according to the news release by Rock for Ruidoso.
Rock for Ruidoso said the event is only for guests 18 years and older, showing ID.
Metal bands Deadly Virtues from Phoenix, Arizona and the Hobos, featuring members of metal outfit Pissing Razors, will be co-headlining the event.
Rock Ruidoso also highlights the following local and regional talent who will be performing at the event:

- Funeral Joke
- Cicada Dialect
- Epitaphromance
- The Mighty Demolitious
- Jane Like Fire
- The Little Lobos
“This concert is not only about the music—it’s about our community,” event organizers said. “We’re proud to see so many artists stepping up to support Ruidoso families and businesses recovering from this natural disaster.”
Food, drink and merchandise will also be available to purchase, with a portion of the sales contributing to the relief efforts.
