Former U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will visit Las Cruces Sunday, September 13, for a Democratic campaign event ahead of November’s general election.
Buttigieg will appear with U.S. Rep. Gabe Vasquez, the Democratic nominee for New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District, and Democratic gubernatorial nominee Deb Haaland.
Doors are scheduled to open at 11 a.m., with the rally beginning at 1 p.m.
The event will be held in Las Cruces, although the specific location is not being publicly released in advance. According to organizers, the address will be provided to those who RSVP approximately 24 hours before the event.
Members of the public wishing to attend are required to RSVP in advance.
